Youth Day will be held on Friday, November 15 from 9:00am to 1:30pm
The doors open at 8:00am on Thursday, November 14. You are invited to check-in before the program begins at 9:00am.
The event concludes with additional programming & dinner from 4:30pm to 7:00pm.

Duane Hollow Horn Bear
Duane Hollow Horn Bear is a Sicangu Lakota Elder who was born at home in 1949 on the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota.
His years of teaching experience has been with the Sinte Gleska University for 25 years, from 1991 to 2016 where he earned his BA/BS degree in teaching within the Lakota Studies Department.
He has taught classes in Lakota History & Culture, Social Systems as well as many other courses including Lakota Language at 4 levels. As well as the Lakota Philosophy of the Language.
A favorite class of his was Lakota Communication where he honed his Oratory skill and shared what he had learned from his elders and relatives about the history of his people through Story Telling.
Today works with the Tribal Childcare Program as a Lakota Language and History and Culture Advisor. Join us for an exploration of the meaning behind Woksape nahan Wookannige Ptaya Najin Au!
